Each time I travel along the majestic Ohio River I am awed by it’s beauty and grandeur. This set of 5 songs celebrates river life. While the movement titles are scenes from the mid Ohio River Valley, people world over will recognize the splash of paddles in the water, the wistfulness of forgotten memories, the frolic of water birds, the grief of life cut short through a tragic accident, and the joy of landing the “big one” down by the lock wall.
