In an effort to address the relative scarcity of well written orchestral celebrations of Hanukah, I composed A Klezmer Chanukah for the Huntington Symphony Pops in 2010. Blending and developing several famous, as well as lesser known Hanukah songs I chose to write this arrangement in Klezmer style so as to feature the amazing Principal Clarinet, 1st and 2nd Trumpets, and Concermaster of the HSO.
